Melanie Alder is a co-founder of Pattern and has served as our Secretary and as a member of our board of directors since our inception. Ms. Alder served as our Chief Operating Officer from January 2013 to May 2018, Chief Investment Officer from May 2018 to February 2024 and Chief Strategy Officer since February 2024.
David Wright is a co-founder of Pattern and has served as our Chief Executive Officer and as a member of our board of directors since our inception. From 2004 to 2015, Mr. Wright held various roles within a large non-profit organization, including director of enterprise information management and database team manager.
Jason Beesley has served as our Chief Financial Officer since January 2021. From July 2007 to August 2020, Mr. Beesley held various senior financial leadership roles at NBCUniversal, Inc., a multinational media and entertainment company, including most recently as chief financial officer of NBCUniversal International. Prior to that Mr. Beesley held various finance roles at General Electric.
As Chief International Officer, Brett leads the go-to-market and e-commerce strategies in Pattern’s international markets across Asia, Australia, Europe and Middle East. Prior to this role, Brett oversaw Pattern’s Advertising and Creative teams, driving incremental demand and conversion for hundreds of brands. Prior to joining Pattern, Brett led the Sonicare toothbrush brand for North America, and oversaw global product development for Amsterdam-based Philips.
Victoria Henderson Bowers serves as Pattern’s Chief Growth Officer and Chief of Staff to the CEO, where she drives global growth initiatives and partners closely with executive leadership to align strategy and execution. She brings more than 20 years of experience leading ecommerce and omnichannel transformation at Fortune 500 and private equity–backed companies. Prior to joining Pattern, Victoria held senior leadership roles at Newell Brands and NBG Home, where she built and scaled digital sales strategies, and teams, across leading retail and marketplace channels.
Ryan Byrd serves as Chief Technology Officer at Pattern, driving the company’s technology strategy and AI-driven platform innovation. With more than 20 years leading global technology organizations, Ryan has built and scaled high-performing engineering teams across multiple continents, overseeing large-scale software and hardware product development. He previously served as CTO at Aptive Environmental and Entrata, where he led enterprise software initiatives, big data platforms, and SaaS solutions, delivering operational excellence and significant business impact.
Rob Hahn serves as Chief Operating Officer and leads worldwide operations at Pattern. His team is paramount in executing supply chain, inventory management, and the underlying technology that fuels Pattern’s continued growth. Prior to Pattern, Rob was the youngest operations executive at Amazon, leading large teams within inbound processing, FBA, and robotics. Following his time at Amazon, Rob spent 4 years building Whitebox, a next generation ecommerce fulfillment services company, as the COO.
Hugh Hinkson leads global revenue growth as Chief Commercial Officer at Pattern. Hugh brings extensive experience in ecommerce strategy, analytics, and consulting, most recently serving as VP of Ecommerce for the Americas & Europe at Pattern. Before joining Pattern, he held strategic roles at One Click Retail (now Flywheel Digital), Groupon, and Sears Holdings, where he combined operational insight with data-driven decision-making to drive growth for major consumer brands.
Missy Johnson serves as Chief People Officer at Pattern, where she oversees global people operations, talent strategy, and organizational development. She previously served as VP of Global Talent at Pattern, building the culture and recruiting capabilities that helped earn Pattern recognition as one of Newsweek’s Global Most Loved Workplaces®. Prior to joining Pattern, she spent more than a decade at PW Companies, where she scaled recruiting operations and directed leadership development for brands operating in 22 countries.
John LeBaron serves as Chief Revenue Officer and oversees go-to-market activities for Pattern and its partners. Prior to joining Pattern, John ran marketing for the Google Cloud business at Rackspace and has held a variety of global marketing roles with leading tech companies including Apple, Cisco, and Ciena.
Jason Wells serves as Chief Architect and Technical Advisor to the CEO at Pattern, where he shapes the technical vision for the world's largest ecommerce acceleration platform. Prior to his current role, Jason served as Chief Technology Officer at Pattern for over 10 years, building the foundational technology that powers marketplace acceleration for leading consumer brands.
Chris Baird serves as Chief Marketing Officer at Pattern, where he leads global marketing and go-to-market strategy with a focus on brand building, demand generation, and revenue alignment. Most recently, Chris served as Chief Marketing Officer at Weave, where he built and scaled the company's end-to-end go-to-market engine, and prior to that served as Chief Marketing Officer at ObservePoint, driving adoption among Fortune 500 companies.
